Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice

Sidebar art by Krista

I'm Chelsea, I'm twenty-one, a media studies and computer science major and an aspiring author. This blog is for things I think are cool and, occasionally, things I write. At the moment, I love all things Sherlock Holmes, and also enjoy Doctor Who, American Horror Story, Game of Thrones, The Avengers, and a whole lot of other things, including cute animals. I'm also working on getting fit. If you want to drop a note and say hi, feel free!

Is Texts!Reichenbach Fall going to be very different from BBC's? You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, of course!

Not very different in terms of the events themselves, but very different in the angle from which we approach them.

Sorry to be so vague, anon.  It’ll be clear soon. c:

Can you explain who Diana is?

Yeah!!  She’s Irene and Sherlock’s daughter.  That is really all there is to say.

Given that I use her in roleplay a lot, she’s lived a lot of different lives and been different people many times, but that is essentially who she is.

Just curious... is there any hints of Johnlock in those Irene Adler books? I just started reading them and like OH MY GOD the only way to make it perfect would be to have that in them aklsdfv sorry for bothering you

Alas, as far as I can tell, aside from the standard “Holmes is not interested in women, what is up with you, Holmes” that Holmes is normally subjected to from Watson, there’s no hint of anything.  The canon Holmes and Watson dynamic is different from what’s in Sherlock!  During many of the adventures detailed in the Irene Adler books, Watson is married to Mary.

I might just not be squinting hard enough, though, because I’m sort of more interested in the Adler and Holmes dynamic in these books.  On that note, Nell develops a sort of hilarious contempt for Sherlock Holmes.  You’ll see.

—Also, Nell is such a sheltered narrator that I don’t think she’d notice homosexual subtext even if it were there, honestly.  So, take some comfort in that.

I don’t even know what to say to that, aaaAA?  Thank you!  (Somehow I missed out on the fashion sense gene, though.)

Irene (Sherlock BBC) and Stiles (Teen Wolf)

I have seen exactly two episodes of Teen Wolf and my opinion of this ask is

… although thinking about how such a child came to be is hilarious and mildly terrifying.
